Speaking of cats, I'm reading a book entitled
Cat & Dog Theology by Sjogren and Robison. It hilariously underscores the difference between cats' and dogs'
attitudes. It must have to do with cats' past deification in Egypt; they've never gotten over that. For example, this old cat goddess started speaking insistently to me as soon as I turned the corner onto her street. She marched me straight to her apartment door and said, "Let me in this instant! It's irrelevant that you don't live here. You're obviously a member of the serving caste, so open the door for me!"
